So Long, Farewell!
This is goodbye for the summer! I have taken a break from the last minute frantic packing/studying to bid farewell. Being that the parents are working on being one of the most technologically backward people on the planet, I will not have internet access in my house in the lovely city of Alexander City. So my blog may or may not remain updated. I will miss being in touch with the rest of society, and all I can ask is that you all do not forget about me.
I am still in awe that my first year of college is over. Freshmen year seems to be such a major turning point in life. When I look back, I can definitely say that much has changed and even more has been learned. Hopefully I am older and wiser than the naive little country bumpkin that was dumped into the big city last August.
Thanks to all who comment and goodbye for now! Much love.

Congrats!! You have finished your first year as a 'real adult.' As far as your last entry, you will pave your own path in life, the more experiences you make, the more you learn, and the more you obtain out of life. Be proud of who you are, and make many, many friends along the way.....take it from a very happy 26 year old!! Miss you and love you, Tierra
Miss reading your updates. You'll have to remember to call me more to make up for my not being able to live vicariously through you through the internet.
Get to see you in a couple weeks though. Yay.
Goodbye, farewell, auf wiedersehn, adieu, Ms. Pizza and Asparagus. Until the next post, then, have a wonderful summer.
it cracks me up that B-ham is the "big city"...
If you grew up the country bumpkin that I did, you would think that B'ham is the big city too. Now that I am used to it, I suppose it is only an intermediate city. Still, you should leave nicer comments if you are going to take so much trouble to comment.
